Franklin Spriggs - The Days Of Wine And Roses

2014-10-29 1

The days of wine and roses,
So happily they seem,
Of youthful days and red bouquets,
And faces full of glee.

It is the time that we'll recall,
With splendor at it's best,
Of red bouquets and negligees,
Where love had past the test.

We took the vow and said 'I do',
We swore to never part,
So on this day, and everyday,
Your always in my heart.

As down lifes road we ride upon,
With you closely by my side,
No matter dear whatever the fear,
In your arms I can always abide.

I gave my word to cherish you,
I gave you all my heart,
So my dear let's begin our walk,
Today is our new start.

With ever thing from me to you,
The blessings that are bestowed us,
Lets never forget, let's never regret,
The days of wine and roses.
