Iohannes Silvaticus - Of All These Paths Surely One Must Lead To Home

2014-10-29 1

And we see a fork in the road,
Our names on separate signs.
Maybe down this broken path
Happiness we shall find.

Take this burden off me,
It weighs down on my tired soul.
Sleepless nights have plagued me,
Carry me for I am weary.
The road is long and paths uneven,
My feet are calloused and torn.
These people tell me to carry on,
But oh my friend, how long?

Of all these paths surely one must lead to home.
