clothed only
in laughter & kisses.

in a sea
held you near me
as waves crashed
all about us
our laughter
our kisses
like little fishes.
Yes...I have known kisses
kiss after kiss
bright & brilliant as stars
that dancing nakedly
above us
laugh at us
& our little humanness
astounded
at how such
great love could be ours!
Yes...I have touched
your naked flesh
with only love
& the lust
of utter devotion
and no...not
even Death
with his ramshackle’d
boniness
& clichéd scythe
could tear
these pictures
from off
my eyes.
