I had A friend whose name is anonyomous
We used to be best friend to the end
All that changed as we grew older
This is how the story began.
We called each other everyday
We were called gossip queens
We talked about boys we thought were cute
and boys that were just plain mean
We went to a party together one day
But my friend was out of sight
I asked her why she left me
and it ended in a fight
Ever since then we havent been that close
Being best friends was now just a dream
She hardly spoke to me anymore
instead she hung out with the drama queens
Now I think back to that silly little dream of mine
And remember what my dad always said
But I never really listened
Just rolled my eyes and shook my head
Now I understand my dad
Unfourtunately I learned the hard way
But all the advice he gives
Is in my mind to stay
Now that you heard my story
I guess its safe to say
Friends dont always last forever
But love and cherish them anyway
