Maire Llyod
struts her stuff
upon the stage.
it is the height of
music hall
and Victoria
& innuendo reigns.
Not only an indignant Queen
but others are not amused
when she sings:
'...she sits among
the cabbages and peas! '
When there is a public outcry
about how
and why and what she means
she condescends to change
and sings
instead:
'...she sits among
the cabbages & leeks! '
