Roz French - It's Not The Same Anymore

2014-10-28 10

The same address, the same front door,
The same furnishings that were here before,
The same coloured walls, the same wooden floor,
So why dosnt it feel like home anymore.

There used to be voices chatting and laughing,
There used to be toy's clunking and clacking
There used to be kid's causing a riot,
There used to be life here
But now its so quiet.

There's no family shopping,
There's no family washing,
There's no family to sit down for tea,
There's no family here any more,
All thats left is me.

I so wish i was doing the family shopping,
I so wish there was a moutain of washing
I so wish i could be cooking the tea,
I so wish my kid's were still here with me.
