Early this morning I was in a good mood so....
I read the Sunday paper while drinking
my usual glass of freshly squeezed juice and vodka
then getting up from the kitchen table
I lovingly placed the A section of the paper
in the bottom of my bird's very clean cage
with a 4 color 4 x5 picture of Hillary Clinton
smiling up at my feathered friend
like a true demagogue
Now my bird is happy and talking of the future
and I am even happier too
because he so did for me what I
couldn't in good taste have done
Plop! That bird knows his politics.......
(my wife said it would be appalling....)
