It's exciting to see you're catching up to me
For a long time it seemed
The only one aging was me
We feel the same when we're together
Aging is not a threat, so do not fret
We're not growing apart, but growing closer together
The aging process is what it seems to be
Accepting who I am
And our time in between
Our love for each other will never die
When I first met you, I already knew you
And felt cheated by time
‘Cause I wanted to love you for a much longer
Since time is something we cannot change
We can help each other grow older together
It's just time is a little further along for me
