Tony Avila Sampson - A Potion Of Love

2014-10-28 12

Silly laughter from
an old hag,
shuffling fingers
in an old bag;
A pinch of dust, a
sprinkled toss,
upon a candle
will exhaust;
Flickered flame moans a
loud sizzle,
sparkled, ... then echoed
a fizzle.
Smoldering smoke soon
be to rise,
the spellbound with a
special prize;
Screech, hiss, and cry
black cats,
That love may see as
good as bats;
Recipe of a
special brew.
ingredients are
known by few.
Bubbling hot, heat
must still rise;
Then add roots, cat tails,
frogs and flies.
Bursting bubbles spew
high in air,
A love potion few
witches' dare,
Sweet desires come
at a flash,
Urge so strong broken
witch teeth gnash;
It's time, Witch, to cast
forth your spell,
Trance of your eyes do
deeply tell;
Passion rages heat
deep within,
sorcerer delights
witch and her grin.
