Sandra Osborne - The Sunshine

2014-10-28 8

When I was a child,
New and unmolded,
Tomorrow glistened with dew,
A spinning kaleidoscope
Of life.

As the world revolved,
I became cold
In the darkness;
Frightened of the false
Promises, I had believed
So strongly.

Breaking the ice
Is not easy,
It melts so slow.
But a planet revolves
About me, and I can feel
The sunshine.
