Bharat Iyer - Homeward Bound

2014-10-27 0

Home alone, I was bound.
Not sure of the way to go.
Saw a light at distance,
Way it was, I felt a hope.

But as I neared it,
It seemed to go farther away.
Dejected, hurt I felt.
But decision to go, never swayed.

On and on, I went.
Hoping to reach home soon.
Keeping the light as a beacon,
I would have followed it, even to moon.

At last I saw it,
My home, my sweet home.
Waiting at the door for me,
Where my own.
