If People Could Read My Mind
If people could read my mind,
What could they tell about me?
Would they be ashamed of me?
Would they sit there and tell me I am a mental case?
Or would they act out of frustration?
Would they tell me that the way I think is completely messed up?
I know one person that would not say a word about the way I am,
If she was here to read my mind,
She always understood me,
And she knew my every thought,
Some times I wonder if she can read my mind,
Even though she is not here,
I still talk to her daily,
And she gives me signs,
To let me know that she is still here with me,
Just because she is gone physically,
Doesn’t mean that she is not with me,
