More than 300 Palestinians attend the funeral of Abdel-Rahman Shaloudi, who killed two people when he rammed his car into pedestrians in Jerusalem.

He was shot dead by police as he fled the scene last Wednesday.

Israeli authorities are calling it a "terrorist attack", but the family of the 21-year-old say it was an accident.

"Thank god, Thank god that my son is a martyr. He had a smile on his face, finally he is happy now. Thank god."

The two who died in the incident were a baby who was a U.S. citizen, and a 21-year-old woman from Ecuador.

Hundreds of Israelis attended her funeral on Sunday.

The incident has stoked tensions between Israelis and Palestinians in the holy city that both see as their capital.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to fight militant violence.
