Competitors from near and far gathered Saturday in the German town of Unna to take part in tournament combining football and table tennis known as HEADIS.
HEADIS ("header table tennis") is a combination of football (soccer) and table tennis in which players attempt to hit a rubber ball across a net using only their head. It was invented in 2006 by Rene Wegner, a student at Germany's Saarland University.
