KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is observing ‘black day’ against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah on Sunday in most of urban Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and various other cities, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, the admission tests that were due to take place in Karachi have been postponed and the petrol pumps, CNG stations, hotels and shops are closed, as is the public transport which was nowhere to be seen as the day began.
The ‘black day’ is being observed on the call of MQM to protest against Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah’s slur about the word ‘Muhajir’ which a large number of people regard as identity.
The everyday life routine was badly affected as result of the call.
