"Mo Ghile Mear" (My Gallant Darling) is an old Irish song, composed by Seán Clárach Mac Domhnaill in the 18th century. It is from a genre called "Jacobite Songs", songs espousing the claim of the Stewarts (James and Charles) to the throne of the UK. This song is a lament by the Gaelic goddess Éire for Bonnie Prince Charlie, who was then in exile.
