Almost three weeks after local police attacked students from the local teachers training college, killing six and kidnapping and disappearing 43, protests in Mexico are escalating and becoming more radical. Across the political spectrum, demands are being raised for the resignation of Guerrero Governor Angel Aguirre, who now admits he knew about the police attack when it was occurring but that the now fugitive mayor of Iguala, where the incident took place, did not answer his phone.
