With their vast size, horns and tendency to charge, the rhinoceros can be seen as a fierce animal. This is not how Goska Zdziechowska experienced them, however, when she encountered an orphaned baby rhino on her visit to Moholoholo Rehabilitation Center. Olive’s mother had been killed by poachers and so the centre stood in to provide care and shelter for the young animal. Zdziechowska had the opportunity to feed her on occasion during her visit.
