Amanda Bynes' 72-hour psychiatric hold has reportedly been extended. E! News and various other media outlets are reporting that Bynes will stay at a California treatment center for an additional 14 days; she was originally placed in the center on Friday (October 10).
The news of the extended hold follows a week of odd behavior for Bynes - who posted on Twitter that her father had abused her, but then rescinded the comments, saying instead that a microchip in her brain made her say it.
Bynes had previously been under a conservatorship under her parents, following an arrest and erratic behavior earlier this year.
