Among the arrangements they’re considering is switching around some seat configurations so two rows face one another and have a table between them.

Perhaps as an acknowledgment that things don’t always work out like that, Thompson is also looking into other means of holding kids’ attention on long flights.
They include various destination-related activities and craft classes specifically for the kids.

The idea of establishing a grown-up only area on some planes has been mentioned.
Child free seating zones are expected to debut next year, and the other concepts that make the cut to start rolling out in 2018.
