These days, smartphones are the target of many thieves. Philadelphia police are currently searching for two suspects who walked into a T-Mobile store after video footage shows one of them running off with a cell phone.
The incident occurred on October 4th, shortly before 5:30 p.m. Law enforcement staffers say one man asked about a cell phone which had been in the display case.
The store employee handed it over for the male to look at.
The suspect didn’t take off right away, but instead shifted it around in his hands apparently feigning interest in how it felt.
He spoke to the other male before scrolling through the menu.
Suddenly he bolted out the door with his phone in his hand. He continued running down the sidewalk and managed to flee the scene before police arrived.)
The suspect who swiped the phone has dark skin and a medium build. At the time of the crime, he was wearing ripped jeans, tan shoes and a white, hooded sweatshirt.
The other male, who is presumably the accomplice, has light skin, a goatee and is possibly Hispanic. He was donning a black hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants.
