Amal Alamuddin Clooney in Greece to give advice on Elgin Marbles

British lawyer Amal Alamuddin Clooney, wife of actor George Clooney, arrived in Athens on Monday (October 13) for a three-day visit to advise the government on its legal chances for the return of the Parthenon Marbles, also known as the Elgin Marbles, from the British Museum in London.

Alamuddin Clooney on her arrival briefly met with the scores of journalists who'd gathered at the hotel in Athens.

In February, Clooney, during a press conference to promote his film "Monuments Men", publicly backed the return of the Parthenon Marbles to Greece.

Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney wed in September in Venice.
