Powerful storms ripped out of the Plains on Monday, October 13, bringing strong winds, torrential rains and reports of at least two tornadoes. One man was killed in an early morning storm near Ashdown, while this footage shows the wind whipping around in Monroe. The National Weather Service is looking into reports of a tornado there.
