The legendary boxer Muhammad Ali is reportedly having some serious medical issues, according to a statement from his brother.

72-year-old Ali is having trouble talking, and was unable to attend the premiere of a documentary film about his life entitled ‘I Am Ali.’

He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1984, and has been in deteriorating health for some time.

Ali was also unable to participate in the making of the documentary about his life, but the filmmakers used old recorded footage along with interviews from his family members, prominent boxers like Mike Tyson, and former opponents including George Foreman.

His daughter attended the film, premiere and says that Ali will be able to watch it from the comfort of his home in Arizona this month.

Muhammad Ali’s brother Rahman Ali, is quoted as saying: "He doesn’t speak too well. But he is proud that we are here for him. He has given this film his blessing."

The boxer’s legacy includes being a three time world champion and winning an Olympic gold medal.

Ali’s son has said that there is no chance for his father to survive until the end of the year, considering his current medical problems.
