Anti-protest groups try to tear down barricades put up by Hong Kong's pro-democracy demonstrators.

Anger has spilled over after more than two weeks of protests.

Demonstrators have been camping out, blocking major roads in the busy city.

The demonstrators are accusing the police of inaction.

(SOUNDBITE) (Cantonese) STUDENT PROTESTER WING CHEN SAYING:

"There were two trucks and conflict broke out. Police just stood there and took a video. They did not take any action against the guys who took away the barriers. There are students sitting in front of the trucks. The situation is dangerous."

Police have been removing barricades from main areas in Hong Kong in order to ease traffic congestion.

The Hong Kong and Beijing government call these protests illegal, but demonstrators insist they'll stand their ground.
