Seven years ago, multinational oil company Exxon Mobil filed a claim against Venezuela and was demanding a 20-billion-dollar compensation for assets expropriated by that state. The World Bank's International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) decided in favor of Venezuela who will only have to pay Exxon Mobil 1.501 billion dollars, of which 907 million were already paid in 2012. teleSUR
