Seven more enter Ebola hospital in Spain

Hospital staff protested at Madrid's Carlos III hospital Friday as Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy made an impromptu visit.

Rajoy was visiting the facility where nurse Teresa Romero is lying seriously ill, after contracting the Ebola virus.

Seven more people have been admitted to the hospital unit monitoring possible Ebola cases but Rajoy says it is extremely unlikely the disease will spread in Spain.

(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) SPANISH PRIME MINISTER, MARIANO RAJOY, SAYING:

"Our objectives are very clear: the first objective is Teresa Romero. As of today, she is the only person we know is infected. The second objective is to monitor the situation of the people who were in contact with her. Some of them are here, as you all know. Thirdly, we continue to work to investigate what happened."
