Number 5: Selleck joined the California National Guard and was activated for the Watts riots which took place in Los Angeles in 1965. The race riot lasted 6 days with 34 deaths, 1000 wounded and 50-100million dollars in property damage.
Number 4: Harrison Ford was not the first choice for Indiana Jones. Spielberg and Lucas wanted Selleck, but he was stopped by CBS from taking the role due to Magnum P.I.
Number 3: When Tom was in college, his buddies talked him into going on The Dating Game. It was his very first television appearance and he (surprisingly) didn’t get the girl.
