Wandering animals often show up in some of the strangest places. Recently a horse walked into a police station located in the town of Winsford, UK.
The creature hoofed right past the automatic doors and once fully inside, continued checking the place out. The animal didn’t stay in the building for long and was kindly escorted out by a staffer.
Although police were understandably surprised by the horse’s appearance, they seemed happy to have the animal inside the building.
Law enforcement Superintendent Peter Crowcroft released a comical statement that reads “We like to ensure a warm welcome to all our guests at HQ, and at neigh point did the horse pose a risk to security and appeared to be a well cared for animal.”
He also went on to note the horse was the ‘mane event’ of the night and that officers were ‘saddled’ by the unexpected visit.
The animal was taken back home. It remains unclear how the curious horse got loose and ended up roaming around alone.
