In Vadodara , M S University has started a department of tabla at faculty of performing arts (FPA). MSU hopes that since tabla is taught in many universities abroad, the establishment of a separate department will open up possibilities of international exchanges and collaborations to explore new approaches to tabla teaching and performances.
