Philly Police Searching For Alleged Burglars Who Stole Dog

There are some stolen items that can be replaced, but a pet certainly isn’t one of them. Police in Philadelphia are asking for help in identifying two suspects who allegedly stole a dog during a burglary.

There are some stolen items that can be replaced, but a pet certainly isn’t one of them. Police in Philadelphia are asking for help in identifying two suspects who allegedly stole a dog during a burglary.

The crime occurred on July 30th at approximately midnight. The two males were captured on surveillance camera approaching the residence empty-handed.

The footage also captured the suspects leaving the home walking the victim’s four-year-old Pomeranian dog called Chi-Chi or Chispa and carrying stolen property.


In addition to taking the canine, the males also swiped an X-box 360 and a TV. Law enforcement has released the footage in the hopes someone will recognize the men.

One of the suspects was wearing all dark clothes and a back pack during the burglary. The other donned dark shorts along with a light colored baseball hat, t-shirt and sneakers.
