Numbers organize almost every aspect of our lives, from the time of day, to the amount of money in our bank accounts, to the speed at which the Earth travels around the sun.
But when it comes to food, nutrition, and our own body, we can get a little too caught up in the numbers. We can be quite anxious about the number on the scale, or the amount of calories or fat grams in our diet.
