U.S. President Barack Obama honored American veterans during the dedication of the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial, near the U.S. Capitol, in Washington on Sunday (October 5), calling them the definition of "real strength" and the "character" of the country.
The Memorial is a star-shaped fountain, with a single ceremonial flame, calling attention to the more than four million military veterans who have suffered disabilities.
