Australia's set to launch an inquiry into alleged sex abuse at its refugee detention centre on Nauru.
Refugee advocates says women have been forced into sexual activity with guards to get access to showers.
There are also allegations of child abuse.
Ten aid workers have also been removed from the island after reports detainees were coached to protest through self-harm.
Australia's immigration minister's pledging an independent inquiry.

"We need to get to the bottom of these things, both about the serious allegations that have been made about sexual misconduct, as well about the reports we're receiving about those who are employed by contractors that are paid for by Australian taxpayers."
Save the Children Australia which provides counselling and support for the refugees denies its staff have fabricated stories of abuse or encouraged self-harm.
