The story pertaining to the leaked celebrity pictures recently made headlines.

Now, a lawyer who represents many of the Hollywood celebrities affected by the iCloud hack and subsequent release of nude photos has threatened to sue Google.

In a letter addressed to both Google’s founders and its lawyers, litigator Marty Singer outlines the grievances and sets the potential lawsuit sum at 100 million dollars.

He states in one segment that the tech giant has failed, “to act expeditiously, and responsibly to remove the images, but in knowingly accommodating, facilitating, and perpetuating the unlawful conduct. Google is making millions and profiting from the victimization of women.”

He also shames Google by comparing their response to the leaked photos to the NFL’s handing of the Ray Rice spousal abuse scandal.

Singer says that he and his firm sent initial demands to have the photos taken down weeks ago and has issued several since.

Nonetheless, many of the images remain easily accessible on Google’s sites, identified by Singer as BlogSpot, YouTube and others.

The attorney asserts that as a result the company is making millions in ad revenue off of images that are stolen property.
