A 21-year-old college student in Pennsylvania recently landed in some hot water. James Finan was jogging while intoxicated.
At about 1:30 A.M. on Sunday, Finan, who is originally from New Jersey, was seen running on the side of the road. Police in Lower Saucon Township noted that vehicles traveling on the route were forced to drive defensively to avoid striking him.
When officers arrived on scene and confronted the man, they noticed Finan was wobbly on his feet and smelled of alcohol. A breath test revealed Finan’s blood alcohol level was 0.19, which is more than double the legal limit when driving.
Finan was cited for public drunkenness. Aside from this brush with the law, it appears as though he has his life intact for the most part. Finan is a business major at DeSales University.
