STORY: Peasant punk came to Paris for Vivienne Westwood's latest Spring/Summer ready-to-wear collection on Saturday (September 27). The grand dame of British fashion told Reuters TV that her eclectic collection chimed with the modern world where there was no one style, saying that on the rare occasions people really dress up, there was a world of different looks. Her collection was varied, to say the least, with horror movie make-up of liberally applied lipstick and bed hair giving the show an air of a zombie nightmare. A silk dress decorated with a print of portraits stolen straight from the walls of Versailles was topped with a shredded purple jumper, whilst a nude bikini kept things raunchy.
