Special court sentenced former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha to four-years in jail. Earlier, the special CBI court convicted Jayalalitha in disproportionate assets case. Jayalalitha is accused of having Rs 66.63 crore disproportionate assets. Security has been beefed up across Tamil Nadu in anticipation of violence. Section 144 has been around the court.
