In this week's program, host Mauricio Izquierdo speaks with Tania Hermida, an Ecuadorian director best known for fomenting a new wave in Latin American cinema with her first full length feature "How Much Further". The film brought her international recognition and drew attention to the region's burgeoning movie industry. Later in the program Izquierdo takes us on a journey through Cinemateca Boliviana, the country's national film archive. Established in 1976, the Cinemateca holds Bolivia's largest film collection and is also a movie theater and cultural center. teleSUR
