Each week on “The Global African” host Bill Fletcher, Jr. addresses issues facing Africa and the African Diasporas. This week's program deals with the thorny and debatable issue of reparations. The issue has again been placed in the spotlight, due to the renewed debate on racism as a result of the events in Ferguson, Missouri and an article entitled The Case for Reparations by Ta-Nehisi Coates published in prestigious magazine The Atlantic.
