The Miami Dolphins selected Ryan Tannehill out of Texas A&M with the eighth overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft despite the fact that he played wide receiver for most of his career. Fast-forward two years, and it’s safe to say the Dolphins have not received any return on their investment—so much so that head coach Joe Philbin isn’t sure if he wants to start the third-year quarterback for the Dolphins’ Week 4 tilt with the Oakland Raiders.
