Madrid, Sep 22 (EFE).- Real Madrid's Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti joined on Monday with club President Florentino Perez in a call to unite around team captain and goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who was booed by some of his own fans during the team's last two games at home. Casillas got the support of Perez during the club's annual general assembly on Sunday, when he criticized fans who came to Santiago Bernabeu to boo Casillas during the games against Atletico Madrid and Basel. The Blancos' supporters have been divided over Casillas during the past two years, ever since he was sent to the bench by Portuguese former Real Madrid coach Joao Mourinho, and some blame him for the eight goals received in the four la Liga matches played so far this season.
