A company in Alberta, Canada just set the world record for the most people in one place dressed as the superhero.
Nexen Energy employees donned the outfits and met up in downtown Calgary to support the company’s new United Way campaign for charity.
Officials from the Guinness Book of World Records were on hand to count the participants. The number to beat was 250 Dark Knights.
After being presented with the Guinness World Record title for the ‘Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Batman’ the participants all had a dance party, which included singing along to the Village People song “Y.M.C.A.”
The group had to stand in one place for five minutes for the record to count, and while the Batmen did, onlookers posted photos of the gathering at Century Park on Twitter.
