Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy made his first TV appearance on Sunday night since his return to politics. The former head of state says he has changed but the French press are not wholly convinced, detecting the same former leader underneath the makeover.
Others question the French tendency for politicians to make comebacks, something it says is not so common in other countries.
