While addressing the joint session of the parliament on Friday, Senator Shahi Syed got very emotional over miseries of people in Karachi and the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan.
“We are being searched at every place. We are being disrespected. Pakhtoons are not respected. Our nation has been divided. We are part of this country and we will save this country from oppressors” he told parliament.
Regarding Awami National Party’s (ANP) stance on ongoing political crisis in the country, Shahi Syed said that “we want to save the system and not Nawaz Sharif.”
ddressing the house of the parliament on Friday, leader of the opposition said Khursheed Shah of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) said that nobody points finger on the one who caused harm to the country and the constitution and that the country has remained captive to martial law, directly or indirectly, for most part of the history.
Khursheed Shah thanked the government to call upon this parliamentary session which proved to be the longest ever session in the 67 year history of the parliament which has turned out to be quite fruitful.
