Video captures boy's rescue from rubble in Syria bombing aftermath

A young boy was rescued from under the rubble in Aleppo after an aerial bombing on Tuesday (September 16), footage posted on the internet appeared to show.

The video purported to show a rescue mission in the aftermath of what was said to be an aerial attack by the forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad in Jesr al-Hajj neighbourhood in Aleppo. A group of civil defence workers could be seen working frantically in an attempt to rescue a boy trapped under the wreckage of a destroyed building.

One rescuer was seen pouring water onto his palm and reaching under the rubble to feed the parched child, who was heard wailing and saying: "May Got damn you, Bashar al-Assad".
