The Charleston, West Virginia water supply has been contaminated by two industrial spills, leaving 300,000 area residents without the vital liquid and bringing all sorts of activities to a halt, including small businesses. Coal mining is the lifeblood of the region, but it comes with an environmental cost. Some local residents are seeking alternatives. Leorna Shadick reports.
