Tension is building in Colombia as on Wednesday its Senate will debate the existence of ties between top level politicians and right-wing paramilitary groups. Ivan Cepeda, Democratic Pole senator, says he is pushing the debate so that the country learns the truth about its history and the role of its top leaders, including past president Alvaro Uribe, whose name will not be allowed to be mentioned in the discussion.
