Khidmat-E-Khalq Foundation Is Distributing Relief Goods Among Victims Of Flood In Different Districts Of Punjab

Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s charitable body Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation has distributed relief good worth lakhs among victims of flood among the villagers of Jhang. It distributed dry food items and potable water in large quantities. Ration bags contained food items, floor, rice, different types of pulses, ghee, oil, sugar, tea and dry milk.
MQM’s Rabita Committee members Saif Yar Khan, Aslam Afridi, members of provincial Tanzeemi Committee Riaz Ahmed, Jameel Akhtar, MQM Punjab’s President Haji Atiq Abbasi, Senior Vice President Shahab Amir, members Punjab Committee Nadeem Khan, President of District Jhang Rana Kaleem and other members distributed ration bags and other items among victims and expressed sympathies with them.
On this occasion members Rabita Committee and Aslam Afridi said that victims are living in open air, tents, schools and campaigns. “It is deplorable that no one has come forward to help them, “ he added.
“If we had representatives from local in this crisis, they would have been taking care of affected people and try to solve their problems and help them, “they said.
They said the country was facing extra ordinary situation. “This situation demands extra ordinary steps for handling the crisis. We would be able to help them in better way if local bodies system is restored in the country. Political are playing politics currently. MQM is the only which has been help victims of natural disaster without discrimination and providing them with food and essential items, “ he said.
