In his tell-all in depth interview with TIMES NOW Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, former Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai made startling claims about former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the UPA govt and the Congress Party. After the interview, a huge controversy broke out with the Congress Party taking immediate steps and accusing Vinod Rai of slander while the BJP requesting PM Narendra Modi to open fresh investigations in the scams that were surfaced while the UPA govt was in power. In his interview, Vinod Rai had also made allegations that former Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel influenced the decisions of the Air India board and made them buy more planes than planned.
